FEDeration X began in October of 2001  when a group of friends decided to play the Project Eclipse scenario that Black Cat Productions was putting on in Logan, Ohio.  This was Black Cat's first 24 hour game and proved to be the beginning of something amazing for the members of FED X as well.  Since one member of the team was at the time an owner/operator for Federal Express, they traveled in his Fed X truck to the game.   By the time the game was over Castro had earned the MVP, and the group had earned the Most Valuable Team award, as well as a name: Team Fed Ex.     After some career changes in the group and team discussion it was decided that we would change our nom de guerre to "FEDeration X,"  thereby bringing the team up to its current title.

    In September of '03 FEDeration X served as the guest referees in Black Cat's ground-breaking "Pirate's Keep" game in Dandridge, TN.  This was a special honor for us as it was the first game of its kind having taken place on a private island.

    In the years since its inception, FED X has added such prestigious industry sponsors as Flurry Industries and Cops 911, as well as establishing a home base at Beacon Hill Paintball Club in Middletown, OH.  In 2005 FED X  added Paintball Bodybags, Michael's, and Able Printing Company to their list of prestigious sponsors.

    In August of 2005, FED X became the first scenario paintball team to be featured in Paintball Sports International, a publication in circulation around the world.  The editors contacted us personally to ask for an interview with the guys and get some insight into what makes a team like FED X tick.

    At the heart of the team's success are the facts that FEDeration X is made up of people who love a good story as much as a good game of paintball, and also value the sometimes lost art of sportsmanship.  We are a stand-up group who play stand-up ball, all in the name of friendship and fun.
